Compliance is the process of making sure that the company and employees follow all laws, regulations, standards and ethical practices applicable to the organisation and industry.

The A24Group places a high priority on its responsibilities to patients, clients and agency staff. Every care is taken to ensure that the highest possible standards are maintained in the recruitment, management and booking of agency staff. We work closely with clients and other stakeholders to maintain and continuously improve standards wherever possible.

A24group Agency Staff Registration and Compliance

Taking care of patients, clients and agency staff is essential to the A24Group. The A24Group has a dedicated compliance team, working in conjunction with our unique agency profiling system - Staffshift. We continually strive to streamline the compliance processes and assist our staff in ensuring they meet the basic and more complex requirements for statutory compliance for their respective country.

  • Enterprise ICT compliance system: we have invested over 100,000 hours of development in smart in-house technology to manage compliance and staffing

  • Comprehensive Registration Process: Online and face-to-face interviews, plus comprehensive work history, qualifications and credentials checks

  • Clearance Checks, fully digital application process via Staffshift:

    • United Kingdom: Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) / Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) applications and checks

    • South Africa: Criminal Record and Professional Body checks

  • Compliance Team: 124 members of staff dedicated exclusively to credential and compliance checks

  • Communication: we make 2000+ calls daily, 30 calls on average to validate one candidate

  • 24/7/365 Support: from arranging interviews to validating skills and qualifications our team is available any time, day or night, to fully support candidates with onboarding.

  • Auditing: all Compliance is verified by an independent Quality Control team

Maintaining Compliance

  • Ongoing Training: over 40 mandatory and additional training courses are available at discounted rates for Agency Staff in both South Africa and the United Kingdom.

  • Compliance Protection: daily system-generated expiry report, detailing training dates

  • Compliance Reminders: automated e-mail reminders to candidates

  • Compliance Passport: a feature on Staffshift. This feature offers you a hassle-free live overview of your current compliance status, reminders on items due to expire, and also display what is required to maximize your work opportunities in your area.

  • Staffshift Safeguard: the system automatically excludes Agency Staff from being booked if their Compliance is not in good order.

  • Regulation: the A24Group is regulated by Care Quality Commission and South African Nursing Council to provide the following regulated activities: Diagnostic and screening procedures; Personal Care; Treatment of disease, disorder or injury, and general staffing supply.
